Perks - Length of Validity

I have a perk in my account for 10 GB that I have not activated. It says it has "87 days left" to activate it. If I activate it on day 87, do I get 30 days of use? Or would I have to use the 10 GB all in one day?

  You can activate it on its last day of validity and still get the full 30 days of service.

  Once you activate it, it will expire in 30 days.
