Unfortunately, no one knows. Fizz will notify us when this option becomes available.

None of the low-cost brands offer WiFi Calling at the moment. There seems to be a silent agreement to keep it that way for the moment and keep WiFi calling support limited to the respective mid-market and premium brands.

This can change at any time though, all it takes is one of the low-cost brands to make the first step. We've just recently seen Fizz adopting parts of Public Mobile's 5G network access policy.

Unfortunately, if you need WiFi calling today, you'd either have to switch to Vidéotron (Québec) or Freedom (elsewhere in Canada) to get it.

Or you can get a VoIP number from a third party and use that instead of the Fizz number. In that case, all you need is data to use the number, doesn't matter if it is WiFi or cell data.

Sadly there is no release date for Wi-Fi calling. It's unfortunate as both Videotron and Freedom offer it.
