I noticed that my 100GB phone plan got a 50GB Bonus DATA... after only 10 days into the month. Rogers just started Unlimited Data plans for $75 without any Curtailment back down to Snail Pace 10Mbps... AND 5 year Price Guarantee. May Days have arrived...

I've been on the 6 month Fizz Half Price Phone plan but I decided to cut the Cord on Rogers Home Internet ;) nonADJUSTED price is $140/mth vs $40/mth Haggled Price for Home Internet. Good to see 50GB BONUS... otherwise I was gonna be short this month for sure... Hoping it happens more than Once a Year!!! Trying out Wifi Hotspot with just my old Samsung S7 10 year old phone. LTE 4G is seeing about 30 to 50 Mbps... Rogers 5G says 2,000 Mbps using a phone is the New Normal. A lot of hype until a few thousand people jam up the phone lines... time will tell. I thought Fizz was delivering 100 Mbps last September when I signed up... Labour Day Back to School Price Cut for 6 months. Looks like a lot of people have signed up since then...

    I noticed when downloading 4GB movie... using Wifi Hotspot when I do the Math
    4,000 MB / 15 minutes / 60 seconds = 4 Mbps data speed vs Bell Speed Test says 30 - 50 Mbps Wifi Hotspot
    My Home Fiber Rogers Internet was a bit faster but not by much even though it's rated speed is 100 Mbps.
    I tried my S21 on 5G and it came in slower than using 4G LTE... so I tried 4G preference and it ran about the same as my S7 10 year old Samsung phone... amazing stuff. Long in the tooth, but still delivering the goods.
