I forgot if I finished a gift I was going to do.

    I don't think so, you get a notification when gifted data, but not when you gift someone else. Then only confirmation I'm aware of is after confirming send and before leaving the webpage.

    I looked in my account and wasn’t able to find a history of my giving.

    If it's the most recent one you did, you can just verify if the number of gifts upgrade. It's usually not very long to appear in this blue board on your account
