What do you think about ads?
I know that ads are annoying and time consuming. Have you wondering if ads are eating up your data, especially people with low data plans?

Ublock origin works well for blocking adds on both my computer and phone, Using Firefox browser on both. Although doesn't do much to stop adds in games.

I do that and it just work and also allow Youtube offline videos. Brave is also better for privacy and since it block more ads you save on loading time, data usage and battery usage.

I don't really pay attention to ads, but you're right that with the limited data I have on my plan, I probably should be more concerned. Unfortunately, you can't really block them in social media apps like Facebook.

I have enough data to the point that I can't even use it all by the end of the rollover period, but, wow, this didn't even cross my mind! Now I'm going to look into the Brave browser

I know that ads fund many services, but they need to be done ethically. For decades, unethical ads have carried on as an issue. There's a need for non-invasive and non-annoying ads.
It's also frustrating that many streaming services now have ads, priced the same or higher than previous ad-free plans. Many VHS, DVD and Blu-ray releases do have ads before the movie, but they can be skipped and/or muted, and they didn't collect personal details. They also didn't interrupt the movie or TV show. Generally, physical media provides a better experience.

Not just when watching videos but even scrolling there are too many ads, and they sometimes make viewing a website super annoying. Especially the ones that pop up with a video that you can't minimize or get rid of completely!
