If you are not brand new you can check your actual usage by going to Manage my plan, then Data Usage Report, then look at your last couple of billing cycles. Otherwise you can check in your text app to see which are set by SMS or MMS (both or which would count as texts) versus RCS (which doesn't count as a Fizz text).

Fizz supports RCS for Android but not iPhone. I have an Android and discovered I sent only 11 SMS in the last month, but the everything else was RCS. So, I just switched to pay per use. I know that iPhones have their own messaging system but don't know if messages sent there count for the purposes of Fizz.

Hi, depends on your usage. If you don't text a lot using SMS you might be better off with pay per use.
A lot of people use apps anyway.

Yes, if you use RCS mostly for text.

Also depends on where you are located. Fizz Wallet for pay per use is only available in Quebec and Ontario.

It depends on the number of text messages you send. Because received messages are always free with Fizz.

In Manitoba, you would need 45 texts outbound (inbound is always free) to break even.

    Cheers,
