Fizz referral new condition, what do you think of this recent change?

The monthly plan selected by the new Fizz member must be at least $20, before taxes and after applicable discounts.

    It's unfortunate that it is now available to fewer people but not surprising, especially with Fizz offering the $40 bonus to folks outside of Quebec.

    It's kind of sad since, but you could take a bigger plan and just reduce it after 2 months. I guess if you have the discovery deal you cannot reduce it afterward right? Otherwise you lose your deal.

    It's written in the legal notes, item 8 of the mobile plans.

    Well, given that my 1Gig Ontario plan was defacto free for the past 15 months after being referred and referring two more people, I am not too surprised... :)

    The referral bonus is made available after the new customer pays their second bill. The new customer will have it applied to their third bill, and the person who gave the referral will have it applied to their next bill thereafter. If the credit is more than the bill amount, it will carry over to the next month.
