Quick question about the USA option when signing up for a new plan

Trying to help a friend port his number to Fizz.
What does the Canada+USA option mean when configuring the plan ? Roaming in USA (so able to use your plan features while in USA), or calling/texting from Canada to USA ?

Answers

  • Both actually. Provided you opt for unlimited voice and text.

  • Incoming texts are free either way, but you'll only be able to get calls and send texts and calls from your coverage zone to your coverage zone without an add-on or additional pay-per-use funds.

  • You can also use date both in CA and US.

    Good morning @xoy99

A Canada plus USA plan means your plan treats the two countries are treated as one. Whatever features you have (calls/texts/ dats) are seamless in or between the two.
There are no roaming fees (although roaming must be turned on).
    From the offer page:

    “ Unlimited calls and texts
Friends and family will be able to reach you while you’re travelling, just like you’ll be able to reach them.l

    Cheers,
    Brad
