Group MMS

Hello LB_Chats,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re unable to use MMS. If that is what you mean, please note that MMS Group Messaging on iOS refers to sending a group text message using MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) instead of Apple’s iMessage system. If MMS messages are not working, please ensure that the SMSC number is set correctly. For Fizz, the correct SMSC number is: 1-514-424-0053.
On iOS devices, the number will not appear, however, it is important to have the latest network provider (carrier) settings installed. You can verify this by following these steps:
Check your current carrier settings version:
- Go to Settings > General > About
- Look for the Carrier entry, where you will see the current version number
To check for updates:
- Go to Settings > General > About
- If an update is available, a pop-up will appear prompting you to Update
- If no pop-up appears, your carrier settings are already up to date
Carrier settings updates are typically automatic, but you can manually trigger a check by opening the About section. Please make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data for the update to proceed. If you are referring instead to RCS messages, please note that RCS messages on iOS is not available at the moment with Fizz. Once it becomes available, we will notify all customers.
If you need any help after trying these steps, feel free to let us know and we’ll be happy to assist you further. You can get in contact with our support agents here: https://fizz.ca/en/support
Than you for understanding!
Have a good day!

Good morning @LB_Chats
I believe you are talking about RCS messaging.

The good news is there are no contracts with Fizz, so it costs you nothing to switch back.
A workaround is to use WhatsApp for group messages between IOS users and anyone else.
Cheers,
