If your PC (Ethernet-connected) is the only device dropping while your wife’s Citrix session stays stable, the issue is very likely local to your PC or your VPN client, not your internet line.
Different VPN protocols behave differently (OpenVPN UDP/TCP, IKEv2, WireGuard, etc.).
Try these steps:
-Switch VPN protocol (from UDP to TCP or WireGuard to OpenVPN).
-Change VPN server/location.
-Update or reinstall the VPN client.
If the situation continues, I suggest you to contact the VPN provider and ask them for support.
