Please note that Travel Add-Ons are activated immediately upon purchase. In order to use them, you must be physically present in the country selected when purchasing the add-on and ensure that your roaming option is turned on in your device settings.
Here’s how to enable roaming:
For Android:
Settings → Network & Internet (or Connections) → Mobile Network → Turn on Roaming
For iPhone:
Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data Options → Turn on Data Roaming

It activates automatically when you buy. It's best to do this before leaving Canada. Otherwise, you will have to find some sort of Internet access in Mexico to buy (e.g. Airport or Hotel wifi).
