PHONE LOCKED
PHONE LOCKED

Hello Jacques P. #31490,
Thank you for posting.First, we would like to clarify that all phones sold by Fizz are unlocked and can be used with any carrier. In Canada, since December 1, 2017, following changes to the national Wireless Code, all newly sold mobile phones must be provided unlocked.
That said, a phone may appear locked if it was purchased before that date from another provider, reported lost or stolen, restricted due to an unpaid balance with a previous carrier, or subject to a manufacturer-level restriction. Could you please confirm if any of these situations might apply?
To better assist you, we’ll need a few more details about the device and the exact message you are receiving. We kindly invite you to contact our support team via chat here: https://fizz.ca/en/support. Our agents will be happy to review your case and guide you step by step.
We look forward to helping you resolve this quickly.
Have a good day!
