    Hello bjlockie,

Although this is not a Fizz related question, I will provide an answer, however, after that I will close the discussion.

The short answer is yes — Freedom Mobile does support 5G on its network if the equipment on the tower is upgraded to 5G and your device/plan supports it. Freedom Mobile’s network has specific 5G frequency bands it uses, and these can be activated at sites when the radio hardware and network software are upgraded.

If you have other questions, please refer to their support agents.

Thank you for understanding, have a good day!

I imagine it would depend on the tower and the specific frequencies. You'd have to check with Freedom.

Videotron bought Freedom and I think that's what Fizz uses.
    The equipment supports 4g..
I wondered the frequencies they use for 4g cars be used for 5g?
