Toronto 5G Inconsistent--failing every 10 secs

In downtown Toronto, noticing my 5G switching to 4G/LTE every 10 seconds or so. One moment I have 3 bars in 5G and excellent speed, the next it's 1 bar of 4G at 1/6th the speed.
I have network selection set to automatic. Experimenting with switching from Fizz to Fizz EXT did not change the terrible service.

Any other Torontonians not getting the 5G you paid for?

    Hello Morphing_NH7LI,
I’m sorry to hear your 5G is acting up like that for you.
That 'switching' usually happens when the phone can't decide between a fast-but-faint 5G signal and a stronger-but-slower LTE signal.
Since you've already tried manual network selection, here are a few other steps to stabilize things:
    Stop the switching on:
iPhone: Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Voice & Data and select 5G On (instead of 5G Auto).
Android: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Preferred network type and select 5G.
Refresh your APN settings log into your Fizz account > My Plans > Manage Plan > Advanced Parameters > Fizz network parameters > Resend me the notifications.
Install both notifications that arrive to ensure your 5G handshakes are up to date.
    Reset Network Settings:
iPhone: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Android: Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth.
