✅ A 5G plan
✅To be located in a 5G coverage zone
The best part?
You can change your plan directly in your Fizz account, however you want, whenever you want.

You can then choose what elements or capacity and speed you want to change.At the moment, plans with 35GB or more are 5G so you'd have to set at least that as a data plan to use 5G.

I was fairly sure Fizz already had 5G since a Bell Speed Test would hit 120 Up 30 down. I can access to either my old S7 (4G) 2016 Samsung or the latest S21 used (5G). Amazing that the Hotspot Wifi feature was available way back in 2016 vs subscribing to Home Internet. Thankfully monthly subscriptions prices are dropping for 100GB Data
making Fiber Home Internet almost obsolete??? I've still got Rogers until April Fool's day when my price will probably double to $80/mth. Thinking of bundling my Cell Plan and cut the Cord. Phone runs a lot hotter / uses up Battery real Fast on Hotspot Mode...
Otherwise prices on Cell Phones havent gone down at all
$1k for the latest S25 used but 75% phone plan of $50 = Boxing Day Sale endzzz. cuts the price down to $500... not too shabby? Thinking of running the old Box S7 Samsung until the Battery Dies but there's a Ultra Power Saver that makes it Fan-tastic on Life Span. Sadly the latest phone has discontinued this feature. I'll have to check closer to April Fool's Day on Sales, Deep Discounts, Offers, Give-Aways... Amazing to see Home Internet runs fine on my Cell Phone at 5G speeds.0 -
I really wish I can pay just 1~3$ dollar more to activate 5G in my plan. 4G in my area sucks bad, and I'm in a perfectly covered area inside montreal accordinfg to the coverage map
