Must watch Halloween movie suggestions!

Do you have a list of movies you watch every October? I'd love to hear all about your favorites, or even great new horrors you've seen recently! 🎃

  • Monster House

  • I'm actually very interested in suggestions; I have young teenagers who wants to invite friends over and watch scarry movies.. but I feel like the movies I know about might be a bit "too scary" ?

Not sure if there is a middle ground, with movies worth watching... lol

Until Dawn, Death of a unicorn, The Substance

  • Beetlejuice the 1988 movie

  • The Evil Dead, the first one is good, but the third, Army of Darkness is my favorite one and the most funny

  • Fright Night, the original

  • The Return of the Living Dead is a good classic

  • Drag Me to Hell, a more recent horror movie that is pretty good

  • Corpse Bride is a very good anim horror for halloween

  • Child's play 1988
    Poltergeist
    Gremlins

  • Saw, the first one

First one is the best, the 2-3 are not bad too

  • The Saw movies remind me of Hostel, good horrors movie to watch

Tim Burton is one of the best for this kind of movie

    I really liked Gremlin

  • I don't rewatch movies every year, maybe every other year. But when I was child with cable, I would love watching Twitches and Twitches 2 on Disney and many other Disney channel 90's/early 2000s movies. I didn't mind if it played every year.

  • The exorcist

Maybe some blockbuster horror movies that are rated PG-13? I haven't really caught up with horror movies but haunted house movies like the Insidious franchise (I think the story from 1 and 2 are great. The rest of the franchise, not so much) or the Conjuring franchise might work? The first few movies of those franchises came out when I was a young teen so I must have also watched it as a young teen.

Another idea is zombie movies! Those are more suspenseful than scary. I'm thinking things like Train to Busan.

    The exorcist

A rare classic I don’t like, maybe it was different back when it released, but now it is hard to watch IMO

  • Evil Dead 2 fantastic Halloween movie. Don't even need to watch the first. It's just a campier reimagining of the first basically.
  • I think the V/H/S series is stupid fun anthology horror with the only theme that its handheld recorded. Sometimes, the shorts are shitty, sometimes genuinely good. Never know what to expect, but not for everyone probably.
  • Not a movie but since the evil dead keeps coming up you could try Ash vs the evil dead tv series.

This one is so funny, with the same actor, I love it

  • A comedy, Ghostbusters! B)

It work! The most recent Ghostbusters 2021 and 2024 are not bad for 30 years later movies

  • You should try "Chucky".

oooooh you're right, that's actually a very good idea, thank you

Didn't know there was a tv series. But I'd still go fror the original movie. Child's play

I have not watch the series yet, because it has been cancelled after 3 seasons

  • I'm not into horror movies too much.

Never a bad time to rewatch 2 Fast 2 Furious o:)

    I love The Evil Dead

  • Good Boy, the horror movie with a dog as main actor… maybe I try it for this halloween, anyone have watched?

  • A little late but, Halloween and Friday The 13th (the original movies) and The Conjuring 1\2 and Insidious and Sinister.

    Yeah love jack skellington

  • A few days ago, I watched the two films Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight.

It's not exactly horror science fiction, well, kind of, since the presence of the mutants stems from a UFO that landed on Earth.

  • The Covenant!
