Hi, I tried activating an eSIM on my iPhone, but now my number is stuck on “SOS only.” I removed the eSIM and reinserted my physical SIM, but it still won’t connect. How can i reactivate my physical SIM card and restore my line?

    Hello Angelzz

Thank you for letting us know about this situation.

I want to inform you that your number is currently associated with the eSIM that you requested. Most likely it wasn't working right away because of the 30 minutes delay. Right now the eSIM should be fully active.

However, if you already deleted this eSIM from your phone, you will have to make a new SIM change request in order to use your physical SIM card or a new eSIM.

If this is a transfer from a physical SIM to an eSIM, you have to wait 30 minutes after installing the eSIM until the transfer completes. Reboot your phone if it doesn't come on automatically after that time. The physical SIM card will be deactivated during the transfer.

Try to Toggle Airplane Mode on/off, restart your phone. Go to Settings > General > About. If a carrier settings update is available, you will see a prompt to install it. If your phone allows automatic network selection, ensure that is toggled on (Settings > Cellular > Network Selection > Automatic).
