When referral credits run out, I want my account to expire (Don’t want my credit card to be charged)

I have accumulated quite a bit of referral credits and my credit card on my Fizz account hasn't been charged a single cent in several months.

Here's what I want: I want that my credit card will not be charged a single cent in the future.

I went to “My Plans” (https://zone.fizz.ca/dce/customer-ui-prod/account/plan), then clicked “Manage my plan”, then “Change my payment method”. But I learned that I cannot remove my credit card from my Fizz account unless I first add another payment method.

Well, how can I tell Fizz that when I run out of referral credit, that I don’t want Fizz to charge my credit card? How can I tell Fizz I want my account to just expire.

How can I stop my credit card from getting charged?

    Hello @spritz,

I kindly inform you that we don't offer this option to plan your unsubscription.
You can do it anytime under My plans, Manage, Unsubscribe.
The order will be effective at the end of the payment cycle as we are prepaid.
    Please consult our FAQ too:https://fizz.ca/en/faq/unsubscribe
Thank you for your kind understanding.
    Have a nice day!

    Hi @spritz
Add a prepaid credit card, or cancel the credit card and get a new one
Fizz doesn't offer that the service

ps You can always put a memo in your calendar, calculate when the credit expire, and the last month cancel it

This is not possible, you always need a valid credit card.

You cancel your plan at least 5 days before the end of your billing cycle.

    @spritz

"You can unsubscribe from your plan at any time, but the cancellation will officially take effect at the end of your current payment cycle. You will not receive any prorated refund. Fizz is a prepaid mobile service, and the choice to cancel before the end of your cycle is yours."

I ported out my # so my plan was cancelled immediately.
I assumed I'd get a pro rated refund.
    Guess not.
Fizz should be nice and let me gift my unused data. :-)

I wanted more data in my plan so I came back but cost a lot more than expected to keep my #.
My fault but it still would have been nice to give the unused 8GB away. :-)

Well, you could have, before porting out the number. Porting out cancels your plan immediately, like it does with other carriers in Canada.
