Leaving fizz? And is your reason similar to mine?

Anybody else needs to leave fizz because of the drop in mobile data speed and stability of this summer while in a bit more remote areas? I have a moto g2023 and others who are using the same LTE as fizz (Videotron) in this same area are not having these issues. How can there be such bad network issues with fizz in a place where I other carriers using the exact same technology are not? Also, unrelated but common!:these places have high speed fiber internet and plenty of good mobile data from various carriers except when it comes to my Fizz mobile data. When there, I've been getting at best around 300kb per sec and many times not getting any... Before this summer, I easily got 1mb per seconds. I was actually considering getting their internet services, but if they can't even make their mobile services better and actually make them worse, that doesn't bode well for their other services..

    Hello Jeado,

Thank you for letting us know about this.

I verified your Fizz account and everything appears to be in order on our end. As you mentioned that this happens in remote areas, please make sure that your phone selects the Fizz mobile network automatically. You can follow these steps: Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Network Operators → Network Search → Automatic

Also, please make sure that your phone is updated to the latest Android version available. If the issue persists, you can also try to reset your network settings.

Furthermore, you can contact us directly on our live chat so we can check if there are any issues with our network in that specific area. You can do that here:  https://fizz.ca/en/support

    Your understanding is appreciated.

    Have a good one!

I give myself September for my last month. That should give me plenty of time to see if the services get as good as before. I lost a lot a lot of opportunities time and effort this summer because of this.
