Had to disconnect my modem, but when I reconnected it I'm only getting 90 Mbps instead of 500?

Hello!

We upgraded to Fizz yesterday. Tech visit was cool and smooth, and speed were great!
Today, i had to clean up around the installation point and had to unplug the modem (power and coaxial).

Hooked everything back up, but now I'm only getting barely 90 Mbps speed instead of the 500+ I had beforehand.

Now, it's my first time with a cable modem, so i don't know if there's a certain period of time before full connections is re-established, but my modem is also showing a solid dark blue light, which is odd. Not in the documentation provided. Of note: my modem is in bridge mode to our existing router-WIFI network.

    Thank you for letting us know about this.
     

    I have made the necessary verifications in our tools, and I see there is no unavailability declared in your sector and your modem signals appear to be mostly optimal.

    Please make sure the modem is connected directly to an electrical wall outlet, and you are not using an extension cord for the modem's connection. Also, please check if the coaxial cable is properly screwed at both ends.

    After that, you can reboot your modem by unplugging it for a few seconds.

    Furthermore, I recommend disconnecting your own router in order to test your connection without it.

    Contact support, they will check if the signal is adequate.
