Cancellation

I requested to unsubscribe from my Fizz mobile plan at the end of May, and I can see that the cancellation is scheduled for June 4th. However, my account was charged today (June 2nd), even though I no longer plan to use the service.
Since I made the request before the renewal date, I would like to ask if it’s possible to get a refund for this charge.

Thank you for letting us know about this.
I verified your account, and I can see that you have successfully submitted the unsubscribe request. This means that your mobile plan will be deactivated on June 4th.
As you know, Fizz only provides prepaid services, so our system automatically takes the payment 72 hours before the end of each payment cycle. This also applies when you have a pending unsubscribe request in case you change your mind.
When your plan will be deactivated on June 4th, you should receive an automatic refund for the last payment.
If you don't receive the refund after the plan is deactivated, please contact us from the support page and we will assist you accordingly. You can do that here: https://fizz.ca/en/support

when did you submit the cancellation request? since fizz is prepaid, they charge 4.5 days before the renewal date

Cancellation is NOT subject to the 4.5 day freeze period. The freeze period is neither mentioned in Fizz' service agreement in reference to cancellation nor do they mention it here.

In fact, they explicitly state "can be cancelled at any time" and "will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle".So, you should take this up with support as people have already suggested.
