Correct. This was $16 just a few days ago.
Also, you can still make calls and send outgoing texts, it merely is Pay-As-You-Go. Calls 10c/min. Outgoing texts 5c. Plus tax of course.

I saw this updated pricing for their 20GB plan posted on Reddit a couple of days ago; thankfully I saw it just before my plan change freeze period started so I was able to switch to this plan.

I actually agree that this policy of having less favourable pricing in Québec is unfortunate. Vidéotron and Fizz are Québec-based companies; for almost two decades, it's was the people of Québec who have made them into what they are today and put them into a position where they were able to acquire Freedom and in turn expanding the Fizz service into other provinces. Clearly this has an impact on the sense of fairness of long-standing Québec-standing Fizz subscribers which can be a powerful thing to toy with. Especially since the reasons for such price differences are not obvious to the casual observer as all four provinces now appear to have all the exact same players in the market.

Yeah, they raised the price for AB, BC or ON "coverage" from $5 to $6 about a month ago or so. That's the extra dollar.
