Volte for iphone 6s+ not working

According to documentation the 6s+ is Volte compatible and a while ago I installed the new sim from Fizz - just opened it up to verify has red lightning bolt. LTE is selected under Voice & Data but the #8378 test fails (wifi off). I've tried on Fizz and 3 FIZZ EXTs: 1 rings busy, 3 others have variations of 'can't be dialed'.
ios is up to date (15.8.3). Coincidentally, I was in the USA last wk and had data roaming on and was able to use data and text and call without issue.
A couple of days ago I phoned a credit card company and got 'this number doesn't exist' - thought that was strange, now I know why.
Can someone pls point out how to fix this? TIA!!!

At the moment is not supported, as users we don't know you can check regularly this FAQ
How do I know if I can use my own phone with Fizz?Fizz will add there the phone certified or you can always call #8378 regularly
But if I will need to guess it will not supported, since it is out of Apple support too.
The VoLTE is used only for calls, therefore it will work for data

Have you activate Volte on your IPhone? IPhone 7 and more is compatible.

Texts, will work when texting to other iPhone since iMessage use the data, and it should work when Fizz will enable the RCS for the iPhone

Yes, when I received my new Volte sim from Fizz, like a couple of years ago now. Too bad other carriers support Volte on 6S+ (according to the internet).
