You are standing in a room with three light switches. Each switch corresponds to one of three light bulbs in a room. Each light bulb is either on or off. You can't see the light bulbs from where you are standing, but you can turn the switches on and off as many times as you want. How can you figure out which switch controls which light bulb?

Turn on one switch and leave it on for a while, then turn it off. Next, turn on a second switch and leave it on. Now, go check the bulbs. The hot bulb corresponds to the first switch, the lit bulb corresponds to the second switch, and the cold bulb corresponds to the third switch. Repeat as needed!
