Update needed on TCL Flip Phone compatibility with VOLTE
We have just received notification from Fizz about VOLTE starting in July 2025.
Will the TCL flip phone that I purchased new from Fizz last year still be VOLTE compatible in July? I tried dialing #8378 today and the message I got was that my phone is NOT compatible. When I bought my phone from Fizz last year, Fizz assured that the TCL Flip was a VOLTE compatible model. The Fizz website still indicates that for this model of phone. Thank you.

Yes, it is compatible now and will remain compatible, but if you want an official response, only Fizz can provide it. Go here:

On the Videotron website, it says Volte compatible with Videotron
It remains to be seen if they will make a specification with Fizz

Thank you. According to all info I see posted by Fizz, it appears that the TCL flip phone will still be compatible in July, at least for calls made in Canada.

If the phone will work in VoLTE in Canada it will work in USA too, since the VoLTE calls are routed to the Fizz's servers
