VoLTE no supported on OnePlus phones, even though it could???

I don't know if anyone can help, but I've recently received an email that said that the 3G network won't be available starting this summer since they'll switch to VoLTE only. I did the test (Dial #8372) and it says that my phone failed the "test".
I'm very curious, since VoLTE seems to work fine on OnePlus devices in other countries... I have a OnePlus 9, which is a phone I love and I really don't want to get rid of it.
So what gives? I'll have to look for either a new phone and keep Fizz, or keep my phone and switch provider...

Hi @Oliwood142
For the moment is not supported, and as users we don't know when and if it will be, you should check the list constantly
You can always try to make a search of Shizuku mod, but I really don't like to mod my phone.

Hi One Plus is not supported at this time. Only Fizz answers this question if support or no.

It's probably best not to expect too much. This question has been raised for years, and FIZZ’s response has always been the same: they are continuously adding new phone models. However, so far, no new brands have actually been added.

With the end of the 3G network, we can hope that this will change things...

They try to be one-sided with prices on both mobile plans and devices

I've tried my friend's SIM card omy phone and I was able to activate VoLTE. Sonmy phone is well capable of supporting this feature.
Why fizz? Why? You'll most definitely loose a ton of customers...
If I have the choice between changing phones and changing provider, I'll most definitely change provider.0 -
Fizz has to send the configuration to the phone, they may have to pay rights on the firmware and codecs. Choices are necessary.

Well, that's really the question here, isn't it? Is it really going to be a ton of customers? Let's face it, the vast majority of people go with the flow and they will have phones from the certified list. Just look at it, Apple, Samsung and Google, that's 90% of market share right there. Plus two budget-friendly alternatives Motorola and TCL. And once the number of customers with phones other than that goes into the low single digit percentile, do you really think, they are going to care?
It's a simply cost and effect calculation. So, they are going to wait until shortly before the phase-out is going to start, how many customers will have lost their nerve and bought a phone off the certified list on their own dime by then. And then they are going to decide if they either risk losing the few customers who haven't, certify another phone model or two, or simply make them customers "an offer they can't refuse" for a new already certified phone.
Also, the other networks are shutting down their 3G as well. Who says that phones not certified for Fizz do better on any of their networks? They'll have a list of phones they provide VoLTE support for as well. They may just not publish this as openly as Fizz does.
