I'm not. I'm planning on getting the old one xD. Assuming it finally drops in price.
But yeah, I'm jealous of everyone else who will get it on day one. These handhelds have come a LONG way from the gameboys…

Nintendo games are cool, but the only device I'd really consider getting is the steam deck.

If Nintendo pulls it off while keeping their signature creativity, the Switch 2 might bridge the gap between PC-level visuals and that sweet handheld convenience. Could this finally be the console to get PC gamers on board?

Totally get that. Classic Switch is still a gem! And hey, GameBoy walked so Switch could run.

Fair point! The Steam Deck is a beast for its access to the massive Steam library and flexibility. The freedom it offers is hard to beat, especially if you’re all about variety.
+ it has OLED! ❤️ Will Switch 2 have OLED at launch? Unlikely.

I hope the Joycon Drift issues will be fixed.
I like the new Joycons attachment system on the console.
The larger screen is also an added bonus.
In any case, I sold my Switch OLED at the right time, just a month ago!
Maybe I'll let myself be tempted by this Switch 2, but I'll wait for the first user feedback. Looking forward to knowing the technical characteristics of the beast!

Big flop incoming, for sure. Clearly, the Switch 2 is doomed because Nintendo has no idea how to bounce back from, you know, selling over 146 million Switch units. 😄

Waiting for feedback like a true gaming strategist. Same.
It's supposedly set to have hall-effect joysticks to resolve the drift but I agree, we need more details about the specs!
Also largely depends on the new exclusive games announced for it. Will you be able to resist the new Super Mario/Zelda/Metroid/Pokemon/Animal Crossing? What if they all release on day 1? 🤩
