High beams in a night drive bothers!!!!???

Does any one get bothered by oncoming traffic with high beam lights while driving in a night? Do you think that technology is the fault at those vehicles or drivers themselves while coming towards other vehicles with having high beams and coming to eyes of oncoming driver.

If the drivers are to be blamed still, do you think they have any consciousness about possible consequences after all for other traffic participants?

The new LED lights are in many cases very strong to the naked eye and could be dangerous after short looking at it.

I get bothered by those LED high beams when approaching especially newer vehicles in a city on street lights.

You are right. The low LED lights are very strong even sometimes we think it's the high ones. Often either they are poorly adjusted, poorly adapted when the person replaces the old ones. There are also new vehicles that have very strong light by default.

Some people are more sensible of others, they will sell anti-glare glasses can reduce this effect, some car they also have sensor to change from high beams when there is another car.

This happened to me just in the parking lot when I went to back out. Couldn't see ANYTHING behind me because the car parked there had their super bright lights on. They weren't even going anywhere. Clearly didn't care about the people around them. Thankfully I didn't back up into anyone.

In my experience it's especially bad for people with astigmatism, to the point where I avoid driving at night as much as possible.

Some vehicles have automatic high beams on but drivers probably keep high beams on at setting so they don't change when recognizing approaching vehicle from other side.

Yes. That could help. I think that the low beams are to be as standard. Many people does not follow that.

I am not against someone using high beams if there is no one to be coming from opposite side.

In my experience its worse when you're in a low car, but if you're driving a car as big as the oncoming cars the glare won't be AS bad.

For cars behind you, you can always flip the rearview mirror to its anti-glare position as needed.
