the calls sometime makes the phone ring, but you cannot pick up. You will not be invoice for this, since Fizz doesn't support calls outside Canada and USA at the moment.
The incoming SMS a free also in Vietnam

Good day fellow Fizza's,
I am travelling to Vietnam and would be purchasing a local SIM, and not a Fizz roaming package. What happens if someone calls or texts my Canadian home number, while I am travelling? Will my phone notify me of an incoming call, voicemail or text?

You wont be able to receive calls but you will receive text messages. Incoming textes mwssages are free.

I didn't know about this. I thought I wouldn't be able to receive anything outside North America!
