    Hi @ladyr

Fizz wallet (I believe that is not available in Alberta at the moment) you need it to pay as per use basis https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-is-my-wallet-and-how-do-i-use-it

Thank you, so it's just like having a bills savings account that just goes towards your fizz mobile?

No, you cannot use it to pay your plan.

For example, if you have a plan without SMS and one day you need to send an SMS, you can add $5 to your wallet. (If I'm not mistaken, this feature is currently available only in Quebec and Ontario), otherwise you need to buy an addon which has an expiration. You can use the wallet to pay for the SMS. If you don't need it anymore, you can request a refund for the unused balance.

Fizz is a prepaid service, so it will not deduct money for usage unless you add funds to your wallet.

    Hi @ladyr

SMS is the acronym for Short Messaging Service, more commonly known as “text messaging.”

As @elena code xzi4t mentioned, users cannot pay for their monthly plan using the wallet feature. Your monthly plan is paid from your Visa/Mastercard credit or Visa/Mastercard debit card.

The wallet feature is to pay for “pay as you use” services that your plan does not include. Let’s say you have a voice only plan that does not include text messaging. If you want to send a text, you add funds to your wallet, send a text message and a pre determined amount of money will be deducted from your wallet.

Money in your wallet does not expire. When you buy an “add-on” instead of using the wallet. (let’s say for data outside your plan area or you want to make calls to a specific country outside of Canada ), the add-on has an expiry date. Here is the link to the add-ons that are available for purchase:

    I hope this makes sense.

    Cheers,

    Brad
