Random Ping Spikes, Lag & Rubberbanding in Games

Anyone noticing random high ping at times and rubberbanding in games? Game will freeze and catch up after 2-3 seconds. It has been like that for the past couple of days. It's actually so annoying, fix your sh*t.

    Hi @Andy_Fizz

    Are you using the Fizz modem only or you also have your own router.

    Are you using the connection with the Ethernet cable or wifi?

    Did you already try to reboot the modem?

    Did is happening at the same time or in different time of the day /night?

    Hi what is your plan ?

    For play use Ethernet plug.

    Peak check virus or malware.

    It would be necessary that you were connected directly with an RJ45 Ethernet cable to the router rather than using Wifi

    Maybe ask Fizz to check your coaxial signals

    Wifi for play not the best.

    Some router allows you to run ping command from it, so you can rule out if it is Wifi issue.

    Same issue - the modem is at fault.

    Reconfigure Fizz modem as a bridge and use your personal router.

    Lost a lot of hours to find this.
