Will there be more "New" 2024 phones in the VOLTE Certified Fizz list ?

Hi,
I need to change my phone because of the 3G Canada shutdown that will come soon. I want to know if Fizz will add more 2024 phone to their VOLTE certified list or update their list like Motorola G Power 5G, or Moto g 5g 2024, or Moto Edge 2024 ... ?

    For sure fizz will introduce other models to the list, moreover, some of the models that you reported are supported for 2023 I will expect that the 2024 are compatible too, you can contact the support to be sure

    Great question for @Whizz

    Due to 3G decommissioning in Canada (which BTW will start in March 2025) and by not VoLTE certifying more phone models, there will a massive exodus of users. Fizz should start thinking about this now to avoid it.

    For sure the list is not updated but the phone are certified, I wasn't able to check this morning since the site was in maintenance

    Hi @Albert2024, I'm currently using a pixel 4xl which is compatible with volte but it has never been certified by Fizz. IMHO I don't think Fizz will certify any other older phone but with new phones I think there is hope, especially getting closer and closer to the shut down of 3G network. However I would ask to customer support since you never know…

    I contact support : they don't know when the list will be updated and if the Moto G Power 5G 2024 will be there but if I have that phone I should be ok because that phone has LTE that's what support told me.

    And for the Moto G 5G 2024, Edge 2024 like @elena code xzi4t said if Fizz sell the phone it should be VOLTE.
