Is a 3G-capable Nokia 6061 supported?
I have an old Nokia 6061 flip-top with a other-provider HSDPA SIM. It works just fine but the other provider is shutting the service down. Would this phone work with Fizz and a voice-and-text-only plan (no data/internet wanted)? If so, roughly for how long?

Hi @jlumby
You should look to the mobile's specs and only after you can compare with the specs that you find here
However, keep in mind that the 3G is supposed to be dropped for the end of 2025

Hi @jlumby
I found this page
it seems compatible The HSPA 850 MHz frequency for calls (this from the Fizz page)You can always contact the support
, and click on the green bubble on the bottom right of the page in order to chat with them to find the right solution for you.0 -
I know but they want to join fizz and most of the usage will be in these's 2 countries. Unless fizz start supporting the phone it wont work with fizz next year.

not good ideas to use with fizz because it’s work only with 3g . Correct for now but not for long time.

Unfortunatly it wont work, this phone need VoLTE and must be supported by fizz to work. So when the 3g network will be taken down you wont be able to text or call.

The VoLTE is mandatory only for the Canada/USA plan at the moment

This is not about Fizz. 3G is no longer working in the US.
