Q re: Data perk (fine print says "once activated, you have 30 days to use") and billing cycles
I have 2 x 20GB data perks (from Fizz company). When I click on it, it says "Once activated on your mobile plan, you have 30 days to use this perk. "
My question is about those 30 days. What happens if I activate the 20GB perk in the middle of my billing cycle?
Let's say my billing cycle starts on the 15th of every month. Let's say I activate it on Dec 10. How long will it last?

they are 30 calendar days from when you activate it, therefore if you activate the nov 15, you can use till the 14 dec

Also everyone with a plan that has data will receive 60gb the december 20. So you might want to check when you activate them they dont overlap with it to maximise your data.

Just to be clear, the data perks have nothing to do with our billing cycles? I want to double check because when we gift data or receive data as gifts, the gift goes beyond a billing cycle, doesn't it?

The data perks are not linked with the billing cycle, the validity can change we don't know yet. In the past, I got a perk with a 120 days validity for the activation

I'm not sure but it look like they will deposit it direct in your account instead of being a perk.

It says that 40gb are READY to be activated on his plan, so they are perks as they need to be activated.0 -
Yes the 2x 20gb are perks that can be activate when you want but the 60gb seems to be data that will be added to your account.

They will work exactly how it's stated. They don't rollover and they are not dependent on your billing cycle. They just expire after 30 days from the activation.
