Any perfume aficionados here?
Hello everyone,
I would like to know if there are any perfume fans/aficionados participating in the forum discussions. No need to be bottle collectors, but only have an interest for various fragrances.
Being a man, I have more than 50 bottles of men and unisex perfumes with various scent profiles. My favourite brands are Parfums de Marly, Creed, Guerlain, Cartier, Dior, and, my top one, Tom Ford.
So, what are your favourite perfumes? Your favourite brands? You can also visit this thread if you are looking for gift ideas, for example.
Let’s discuss perfumes!

Maybe you just haven't been exposed to the right ones.
Perfume preferences are very subjective.

It depends of many factors. Some put too many, others put bad smelling ones…

Leather flagrance parfums.

Bath and Body Works has some unique perfumes into hand soaps, bars, body wash, for cars, hand sanitizer and perfumes they are surely different!

Like which ones? My favorite leather scents are: Cartier Déclaration Parfum, Tom Ford Ombré Leather (both versions), Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, Guerlain Habit Rouge Eau de Parfum and, for a cheaper experience, Bentley For Men Intense.

Lol maybe.

I like to test, but I can't really decide very easily because many smell different on the skin than on the test paper.

I second Creed. I have bought a bottle of Aventus back in Paris and the thing just smells awesome on me! Quite a high price tag though!

Yes, it’s their only “problem”, IMHO…

You absolutely need to test on the skin before buying!

Well said! It changes from skin to skin to your body temperature also!

Some perfumes are better in Spring/Summer, others in Fall/Winter. For example, Azzaro Chrome and Armani Acqua Di Gio are a bit too light for Winter, while Valentino Uomo Intense and Boss Bottled Elixir are too strong for Summer…

Some parfums are good no matter of skin, PH, température, etc.

I never used parfums but I was tempted to try recently Might give it a go!

Well said and descriptions are detailed! Agree on what you said, some perfumes are seasonal which goes for a certain time such as more woody, coffee, spices are more for autumn / fall 🍂 and for winter more like touch of peppermint and such correct me if I'm wrong

Yeah I can definitely agree on this one. Me personally I sometimes blend two perfumes so one is strong the other one more subtle and it works for me, it's unique and has a perfect balance so people can't really replicate that well atleast for me it works and love the blend woody, spices is the more subtle side andpeppermint freshness is the strong one

Do you have it on you and tried it? If so how is it?
I'm curious because I personally never heard of it nor seen it.

I use perfumes occasionally, rather I use Attar

Why? Any allergic reaction?

I agree with you

Which one is the best? How does it smell?
0 -
Wow. I love most Trussardi perfumes, but it is an almost unknown brand here in Canada…

It’s more of a fall/winter scent but Tom Ford Ombré Leather has been my go-to recently and I like that it’s unisex

I can’t deal with scents most of the time, but I really like the body shop’s perfumes. They are the only ones doesn’t make me throw up in a car.
