Incentive for Adding Second Line
Hi,
I recently ported my number over to Fizz, and am really enjoying the service and community. I'm planning on bringing my wife's number over as well. From what I can see, there are two options.
- I could create a new account for her, and she could activate using my referral code, saving us $80 total with the current promo, or $50 with the normal referral bonus.
- I could add a second line to my account, and bring her number into that line.
It seems like option 1 is a no brainer, but then we need 2 separate accounts, bill payments, etc. I'd like to do option 2, but at the moment I don't see any incentives to doing so. Wouldn't it be in Fizz's interest for me to add more lines? Do they have any incentives for that, or options like data sharing for multiple lines?

You are right Fizz push us to create 2 accounts
- You cannot separate plans in one account if one day you need to
- When you reach a new level you get only one bonus
- sometime fizz give us perks, but a lot of times are from account and not plans
Considering the 80 $ referral credit, you will probably never compensate with the bonuses
Like you said is no-brainer option 1

Option #1 is better for now. Maybe Fizz will change that in the future.

I hope they add incentives for second lines, it would make things easier when managing a larger account for sure.

Yeah a pain to manage 2 separate accounts for sure, but benefits wise it makes sense to go with option one.

There is an incentive to stack two lines on one account as you earn points through monthly payment quicker so you unlock level slots and perks faster.
But whether that is worth it in your eyes is a different story.
