    Taking into account the yesterday's storm, I am not surprised that there are multiple power/Internet outages.

    Possibly caused by electrical failure !

    My internet also hasn't been working since the power outage. Downstream light just blinks and unplugging/plugging it in doesn't help.

    Odd that Fizz is saying there are no known service failures right now when this seems to have affected a few people..

    I chatted with them and they dispatched a tech…20 mins later it was up and running.

    Thank you for your port.

    We are glad to hear that the situation encountered with your internet services is fixed now. 

    Due to the recent outages, in some areas maintenances, works were required in order to restore the internet connection. 

    By looking into your connection details, we can see that indeed, your modem is online now and signals are optimal. 
    In case you will encounter any issues, you can restart again your modem and reach back the customer services agents.

    To restart the modem, you can unplug the power cable for minimum 30 seconds.
    After that, please plug the modem back on into the electrical outlet and expect about 3 minutes for the device to fully reconnect to the network.

    The waiting time can be higher than expected due to the high number of requests however our customer services are working constantly.

    In the same boat - no connection, no chat response. Since 7:30 p.m. yesterday (Friday) . In the Mile-End, MTL.
