Does anyone in J4L4V6 area is experiencing loss of internet connectivity?

All day long my download speed is about 0.5 Mbps, but my upload speed is 50 Mbps. I have rebooted many times the modem but still the same speed. On the Fizz website doesn't say if there's been any problem. I tried chatting with Fizz but nobody answers 😕 Do you think on Sunday I would have any chances chatting to a real person, or should I wait until Monday to call?

    It could be due to the loss of electricity in some regions. You should wait as you intend and if not you can contact the support team.

    We are sorry to hear about your issue with the internet speed.

    By verifying your Fizz account we noticed that there are no maintenances works being done in your area.
    Your modem is online and signals are optimal therefore the speed should be the one in accordance with your plan, for upload and download. 
    In case you are encountering issues, please restart your modem.

    To restart the modem, you can unplug the power cable for minimum 30 seconds.
    After that, please plug the modem back on into the electrical outlet and expect about 3 minutes for the device to fully reconnect to the network.

    You can turn Off wi-fi on your devices and the turn it back On in order to allow them to reauthenticate to network and then test the speed, to see if there are issues on all devices or only some of them. 
    Also, please verify the coaxial cable, to be well screwed and not damaged in any way.

    The waiting time can be a little higher than expected for a customer service agent due to the high number of contacts however you can still reach them as they are available at any hour.
