Taking into account the yesterday's storm, I am not surprised that there are multiple power/Internet outages.

My internet has also been down since my power came back on last night. Was hoping it would be fixed this morning, but no such luck.

I’ve tried unplugging the modem several times, as well as making sure the coaxial is properly connected. The downstream light just continuously blinks.

    Hello Leo P. #2487,
We are sorry to hear about the situation encountered with your internet services.

After making the necessary verifications into our tools, we noticed that your modem is currently offline.

This is because there are currently some maintenance works being done in your area due to the recent outages.

Rest assured, the technicians are already on the field doing the necessary to finalize their interventions as soon as possible because they understand the need for services.

In the meantime, I kindly suggest you to keep an eye on your modem and restart it from time to time in case the lights will switch or blink.

To restart the modem, you can unplug the power cable for minimum 30 seconds.
After that, please plug the modem back on into the electrical outlet and expect about 3 minutes for the device to fully reconnect to the network.
Here you can see exactly the process: https://youtu.be/FUup6jfIvGA
