cid name is not available
cid number is available, therefore, if you have the number in your phone book you should see, otherwise look on your phone if you have a special setting to do it

no fizz doesn’t have this option it will show only the number

Fizz does not provide it but you can install 3rd party apps that will display the caller ID.
Just google it and you will easily find a few apps that do this.

My VoIP forwarding lines pass an identifier to tell me which line people are calling me on. Google or other apps will not work for me with this.

It would be impossible for me to input the name and phone number for everyone in the world. I also pay a cent per lookup for my VoIP provider to pass me the name. At this rate, I'm throwing away each lookup I'm paying for.

Fizz at the moment doesn't support CID name, if for you is important you should look for a dialer that can do this

Please stop implying this is a phone issue and can be fixed by a new dialer or service. As you state, fizz does not send the data to the phone.

Some dealer can do a number lookup, therefore can probably have it work as you need it

You should try the Truecaller app. It uses the number to look up the data in their own crowdsourced database.
