Hi @Astaral
I didn't check yet, here in Quebec we have the Quebec day( Fête du quebec)

In my city they have all day events at the local park followed by fireworks in the evening.
During the day there are live bands, kid's amusements and food trucks.

Going to be interesting looks like!

Festivities in all the cities I imagine. Best to look up the cities website.
Enjoy Canada Day! 🇨🇦

In my city our main park is gonna host a nice little celebration! They even have park and rides set up for it1
-
Would be a great occasion for postponing cancelled St-Jean-Baptiste festivities, but it wouldn’t work, I guess, due to political reasons (without forgetting moving day)…

There are going to be fireworks near our place. But we are thinking about launching fireworks ourselves
2 -
Montréal has some cool stuff like the fireworks and jazz festival happening1
-
Montreal has many interesting “side events” on Canada Day. It’s the best city in Canada to do other things than celebrate the holiday…

I just wait…

LOL, honestly montreal seems like such a beautiful city. definitely got to visit one time
1 -
You should visit. I think it’s the best city to visit in Canada. Big metropolis feel with top cultural events. People ask why such a large city only has one team in the “big four” pro sports leagues. I say it’s because we sacrificed many opportunities for better cultural events and diversity. Montreal has a better nightlife than Toronto IMHO…

Maybe I should check this out

In terms of culture Montreal is one of the best cities in North America.

Here in Montréal it's the Vieux-Port to reach for Canada Day 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

At the local park with live bands.

Sounds cool!

I agree from someone living in the heart of Montréal!

It's hard to beat.

Right on!!!

Yes. The fireworks were pretty good at the end of the evening.
0 -
Was it at Vieux-Port or the West Island?
0 -
I was in the West Island. I'm sure the ones at the Vieux -Port must have been more extensive.
1 -
I've heard it around 9:50-10PM yesterday from my area! I guess it was around PCHS with the carnival temporarily place not sure

I was in Dorval at Millennium Park. It's right on the shore so you can actually see them launch from a barge on the lake.
1 -
Awesome! Chemin du bord du lac Lakeshore is one of my favorite road along with Beaconsfield! From Dorval to Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue nearby the river alongside is simply an escape to relax destinations!

That's where I usually go biking. It's nice scenery. And if you keep going up through Senneville you can see all the waterfront mansions. Some people have a lot of money.
1 -
Nice! Yeah perfect for biking! Scenery are next level and very relaxing. True I sometimes pass by car for the scenery from Gouin to Senneville and the road finishes all the way to Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue!
1 -
And also there is not much traffic on the road
1 -
Yeah mostly on Senneville man there is none for awhile and feels like countryside for a few kilometers! It's a nice feels you get like your really far away from the city 🙂

There's actually a couple of farms out there.
1 -
Lol yeah saw it that road goes a long way to the farm, and also on Île Bizard, it feels the same the further you go with the woods, farms, lake and pretty much calm and really good for biking also
0 -
And yet still on the West Island. No bridge to cross.
0 -
To reach Île Bizard there is actually a bridge, there is water around, plus they are doing a new bridge under construction, not sure if they'll be 2 bridges after or destroy the old one tho
0 -
I'm not sure but the golf club is hosting the PGA Presidents Cup in September.
The bridge situation is going to make the event a logistical nightmare.
1 -
It's nice you know that golf place is hugeee!
Yeah hopefully it'll be done by September! From what I saw a few weeks ago, 80% is done
