Does anyone use "leftover" upgrades on a second line on their account?

As the title suggests, do you have a second line under your account and what upgrades are you using on the primary and secondary lines?

We aren't able to receive referral bonuses on a second line due to technical limitations so I am curious how everyone manages their accounts.

If you make a new account you won't have access to all the perk slots a high level user would have (and potentially the larger data upgrades) but you'll have access to the perks that come with a new and high level account (after a couple of months/years).

    Hello @jvh_NVPF2

Yes you can apply your rewards to both phone numbers, however the number of bonuses remains the same.

e.g. The maximum of dollar bonuses are 4$ so you need to share them between 2 numbers.

I have 2 phone numbers and Internet (in the middle) on the same account

Regarding the referral bonuses, you can change which phone number or Internet plan is receiving them from Settings

    hi

You can always change where to receive the referral for example every time you receive one you switch the plan in this way you receive once to each

For the rewards you will better of the get the referral code using an account for each plan

I think I understand what you mean but there might be a language barrier.

    Here's an example: Friend (A), Friend (B), Stranger (C)

"A" uses the code of "C". "A" receives the bonus.

"A" wants to refer "B", "B" cannot receive referral unless they make a new account.

I'm curious if anyone has two telephone plans under one account and if they take advantage of the 3 perk slots the second phone plan would have instead of starting from zero by creating a new account.

PM refugee here as well, I lost my 5 year loyalty bonus and I am thankful for that as I wouldn't have found Fizz otherwise. Getting better rewards over here as well.

Man they have good prices but service is the worst and they even changed their rewards system! Glad we made it here honestly everything is well balanced out from prices, service, community, rewards and most of all the ease to create an account, sim card and customer service extremely fast and efficient compared to PM!

    you wrote

    which I answered

    In you example

A and C they will receive 25$ each

A can refer B both they will receive 25$ are friend why they should have the same account?

The referral can be used on the first plan in one account, is not a technical limitation. But a referral code is created to bring new customers if you already have a plan or had a plan in one account you are not a new customer

Let's change the situation a bit. I think it will make more sense if it is a family relationship.

I've seen in other online forums as advice whenever someone is activating multiple sims (like in a family) that they will create a new account instead of adding all those plans under one account so that they can "chain" their referrals so each plan will get a rebate of $25.

And it ties into the original topic of the thread: Do they keep all of the plans under one account? And if so how do they allocate the perks? Or do they create a new account every time to take advantage of referral bonuses and potentially have more perks for each individual account at the cost of having to wait a long time to unlock those perks.

I agree since you are better off to get an account for each plan at least for the mobile

    For two reasons

    • the 25$
    • At the moment fizz will not allow to migrate a plan to another fizz account

If you have a mobile plan and you want to add an internet plan, it is a different story, but if I remember correctly you are from Ontario and at the moment you cannot have residential internet

Yes, internet hasn't expanded to Ontario yet. The level system was designed with bundling the services together so it takes quite a long time to reach the higher levels.

But it would be interesting to have a discussion on how Fizz will change because as I see it now Fizz primarily targets the younger and/or more budget conscious consumer.

Currently there isn't much incentive to bundle multiple plans under one account because the rewards system was designed for one person so maybe we can see a rewards rework of some sort.

I'm in the same situation. I was with them for 4 years and I felt betrayed so I switched over and now I'm really glad it happened.

I always wondered why we would get multiples of some of the upgrades, usually more than there are slots, now it makes sense if the same upgrades can be shared across multiple plans on the same account.

I was revisiting the rewards page and it looks like there's a pretty good incentive to have a second line to utilize the $3 rebate but any line after that won't have many "good" upgrades left.

If you were to add a third plan would you consider opening it under your account or as a new account?

It depends. For me it's easier to manage my plans under the same account. If you want to have some extra money by reffering each other, then open a separate account.
