Incoming text messages and calls from international locations while subscribing to Canada only plan
Just to be sure….assuming I have a Canada only plan, can anyone confirm if the following understanding is correct:
- I will be able to receive texts from any international number, but won't be able to reply if the number is from outside Canada
- I will be able to receive calls form any international number but won't be able to place any calls to international numbers (outside Canada)

- You can receive from anyone, anywhere you are. You can send to anyone in the world if you are in Canada and you have unlimited texts
- If you have unlimited calls, and you are in Canada Yes
If you don't have unlimited, the answer still stand if you have an addon or money in your wallet for Canada
If you will be outside Canada it can be a bit different, but outside the scope of your question

The ABCs of Fizz mobile services.Incoming texts are always free, whether you’re within your coverage area or not, and whether you opted for unlimited texts or not.
When you are within your coverage area:- all text messages you send are included, whatever their destination is.
- When you are in your coverage area, any call you receive, even
those coming from abroad, are considered and billed as a local call.
- To check rates, log into your Fizz account. Under your mobile plan, click on Manage / Add-on, and enter the country where you’d like to call.

You will be able to receive international texts and you will be able to reply and send texts to anywhere in the world if you are physically in Canada
You will be able to receive incoming international calls, but you can’t call international numbers, unless you buy an extra to call in a foreign country.Hope this helps!
