Will eSIM technology work with Fizz soon?

I'd have thought that, being an online company, eSIM would have been a basic option, but it doesn't seem to be the case. If someone knows why, pls share.

    Hi @Simon

We don't know as users, Fizz will let us know when they will be ready to test it.

I was doing a bit of research and it seems people have been asking for it for years. It must be a technological limitation. :(

I love fizz but not esim support (I want it for my watch, and my work phone) is a real bummer. This should be standard by now.

The parent company Quebecor owns Videotron, Fizz, and Freedom.

Freedom had eSim before their acquisition and Videotron doesn't offer eSim like Fizz.

We're unlikely to see eSim unless we see Videotron adopt it first but I could be wrong.

I think eSim for your primary provider.is overated.

If Fizz is your primary provider just use the physical Sim slot for Fizz and always leave it in.

Use eSim for the occasional situations in which you need to use a different network (so you don't have to swap the physical Sim).

Hello @Simon and everyone else in this discussion.

For the moment we don`t have any news on the eSIM option, but if anything our website will be updated when the time comes with details on the matter.

    Have a good one,
