Is there any Fizz home internet service, tailored for streamers?
The fastest plan with the fastest upload speed I can find on Fizz page, is the: 400Mbps down / 50Mbps up. But even this one is traffic managed according to this:
So the upload speed is basically guaranteed to be lower than 50Mbps…Any service available that offers bigger, non managed, upload speeds?
Thanks

With an upload speed of 50 Mbps, you have ample bandwidth to stream at high quality. However, I'd avoid 4K resolution if you're streaming gaming at this speed. Fizz does not offer any other upload speed options.0

Salut @A O
The maximum is a 50 Mbps which seems to be a characteristic of the technology used
Please read between the line, I cannot give you names other than FTTH

The 50 Mbps upload limit is imposed by the provider. It is not an FTTH limit… The worst FTTH network (GPON (Gigabit PON)) has an upload speed of 1.25 Gbps . The newest deployments are easily passing 20Gbps upload

Fizz doesn't use FTTH, it use an asymmetric technology.

You may be ok with 50Mbps.
Let's say for example that you are live streaming to YouTube at 720p 30fps, YouTube recommends 3000 to 8000 kbps for video plus 128kbps for audio.
This bitrate for video would be the worst case for action packed video. If it's just you standing there talking, the picture doesn't change much so video bitrate would be much lower.
I would say that you can stream fine to most platforms with about 5-6 Mbps upload.

I think the most expensive one is proper for streaming.

I believe that the problem here is the traffic management on the upload, if you upload too much the upload speed will be reduced

I agree that it may be reduced but not below 10Mbps on a 50Mbps plan.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry I read the documentation, they don't reduce the speed they reduce the priority which can be a problem if you stream
The upload capacity of these modems is then given a low-priority rating. Based on the severity and time during which the congestion persists, the upload speed of these modems may then be slowed down.

I would be interested to know if there are any non-FTTH… I have the feeling all cable and DSL will not guarantee high speed upload rates.

Since today, Fizz offer 940Mbps down / 50Mbps up internet plan.
