I have the 30 MB plan, that at one point was upgraded to 60 MB plan because there was a promotion to get the 60 for the price of 30 MB and I took it.
My question is the following, I am paying currently 44.84, including 6$ off I am benifiting from as upgrades for being a customer for some time, so base price is 45$ - 6$ = 39$ + tax = 44.84.
I am just checking the plans now, and I see the 30 MB plan starts at 35$ so even with the taxes it comes up to 40.24, so it is still less than what I am paying after the discounts!!!
Am I missing something here? what should I do?

    With Fizz the price don't change, however, this also means that they not change it even if it goes down

    As today, you have couple of options, always modify your plans

    • get the 30mbps for 35$
    • get the 200 mbps for 44$
    • or get the 400 mbps for 45$

    For sure at these price you should consider your bonus - 6$ therefore, for the price that you pay you can get the 400 mbps at the same price that you pay the 60 mbps

    Unfortunately it is a slower plan, and also cheaper. It is your decision to take it or not.

    You should be checking Fizz prices once in a while to see if the plans are a better deal than what you have.

    If there is a better deal then you can just switch to it.

    Well if you wanna switch to that plan you can but you will obviously get a slower speed.

    It's up to you, but in your place I would switch to 400/50 for the same price you are currently paying.

    Switch to the 400 mbs plan, it will cost you the same price and check from time to time to see better deals. Or you can go back to the 30 if you want to save money with a much slower speed.

    The key here is that you have a 60 Mbps plan. Even though you took the upgrade from a 30 Mbps plan, that was a one time upgrade. Now you have the decision to change your 60 Mbps plan for any of the 3 currently available.

    Since today, you may obtain the 60 Mbps plan for 39$. Check it on the Fizz website.

    They now also have 500/50 for $49 and 940/50 for $65.

    For sure there is now a cheaper plan for the 60 MBps, however Fizz has removed the cheaper 30 MBps plan.

    Hello @danitouffaha

    Following my verification you have chosen the 30Mb plan to start in July. Once your plan is active, you will also have the possibility to change it anytime (My plans → Manage my plan → Change my plan). Keep in mind that any change has to be done at least 5 days before the end of cycle and it will take effect at the start of the new payment cycle.
