VOLTE working, but Conditional Call Forwarding not working, on non-whitelist phone.
My phone is not on the whitelist ('certified') for VoLTE. Nevertheless, after a long period of being blocked from LTE, it is now working fine, including in 4G+ which bonds channels for higher speed.
Signal drops quickly as I move away from of a tower, as the 4G range appears to be short.
And Conditional Call Forwarding (CCF) still does not work, even though it has nothing to do with the phone. CCF works even if your phone is off, so a compatibility issue can not exist.
When attempting to set CCF, an unexpected network error occurs. If I swap the SIM to a VoLTE certified phone to set the CCF number, the CCF settings continue to work when swapped back.
Q: Does anyone have a non-whitelist phone that works with VoLTE and CCF?
Baby steps, I guess?

Sorry I don't know how to help you with that but may I ask you what your phone is? Curious that volte is working even though the phone is not whitelisted...

POCO X5 Pro 5G
It's a Xiaomi phone, with specs similar to a Pixel 7a but with a bigger battery for half the price.
You can look up phone specs on kimovil.com
Xiaomi phones have worked well for me for half a decade.
While they don't support every band in use in Canada, they support most.
But this anti-competitive whitelisting is a real pain point.
It really shows the lack of real competition in Canada.0 -
I have a Redmi Note 12 Turbo (aka POCO F5), and I agree with you. Whitelisting is a pain.0
