Suggestions for places to visit on Canada's east cost during summer
Hi everyone, I'm gonna be in Halifax during the summer and I'd like to take the opportunity to travel and visit some cool places on the east cost before going there. Gaspésie is already on my bucket list, passing by Gaspé and Percé. What else? Thank you in advance!

I never go to Halifax but maybe you can go to the big arena where Bulldogs played before they move to Laval

I like Cape Breton, if you go by car you can put in your list (the cabot trail)

Thank you for the suggestion Elena, I'm gonna look into that! Yeah, I'm planning to go by car 👍️

I was thinking more like small towns, hiking trails or weird things people don't usually put on their bucket lists. I'm not really a football fan but thank you anyway for the suggestion!

It’s hockey 😅 before Rocket of Laval, it was the bulldogs of Hamilton

oops sorry, didn't know 😅 as you could have guessed, I'm not an hockey fan either. Hamilton is in Ontario though... opposite direction 😅

I know very well Montreal and Quebec City.. I visited several places in QC... I'm looking for places to visit on the coast, on the ocean

If you love diving, the sea there is filled with creatures that will amaze you.

Where have you been exactly? Do you have specific locations to recommend?

Pretty much everywhere in nb, i lived there for 8 years and i did scuba diving at multiple locations. Some on my favourite area were (not in a specific order) Saint John, St-Andrews, Hopewell, dune de Bouctouche, Caraquette & Tracadie.
nb is almost like having two provinces in one. Half is french half is english, half have the sea half nave the nature. It’s a wonderful place to live.

Drive the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, when you arrive in CB take the right side of the route. It’s great for the passengers to view the great scenery. Also stop in Baddeck and go to the Alexander Graham Bell museum.0

Go to PEI! It's nice there.0

Go to Oak Island in NS.
It is featured on the History channel in the series "The Curse of Oak Island".
They are searching for a hidden treasure possibly deposited there by the knights templar.
They have guided tours.
You can also go to the fortress of Louisbourg. It is a parks canada historical site.
It's an 18th century french colonial fortress right by the ocean. They have actors dressed in costumes from the period.
