Is Fizz planning on adjusting their current speeds and pricing?

I was wondering if they will offer 1Gbps and lower the prices of the other speeds in consequence.

Fizz is constantly adapting their plan, so it can happen every day. May I suggest checking the plans regularly since you might discover new plans or the same plan at a lower price!

They are updating pretty often so you should come back from time to time.

Just to add some clarity, for now the 1 Gbps has not been announced, so I woud not count on this soon.

We don't know yet. Their sister company Videotron is offering what they call "Giga" Internet. Basically 940 Mbps in download and upload 50 Mbps running on cable and it's not symmetrical. They have access to the infrastructure, but in my opinion I don't think we will see that anytime soon. I think they don't want to cannibalize their premium segment (Videotron).

But I can also be wrong as I guess they are always analyzing new ways to offer new, improved features in their product offering at the best price just like when they started offering the 400 Mbps speed tier which was exclusive to Videotron, until they released it on Fizz once Videotron released their "Giga" speed tier.
