WiFi is working but Ethernet is not working
Hello, everyone! Hope you're all well!
I woke up this morning to find out my internet was suddenly not working, both WiFi and Ethernet. Then after turning the modem on/off again and again and not getting any results, I decided to contact customer support. They helped me reset my modem and configure my wifi again. And so my wifi started working again. The Ethernet didn't work right away but they told me to wait 15 minutes then connect my LAN cable, then it should work again.
However, it's been 3 hours now and my ethernet is still not working (Wifi is working perfectly though)
I have attached a LAN cable from the modem to my PC but it says "Unidentified network" and the ethernet doesn't work.
Any help will be much appreciated! Thank you.

sorry I am with my mobile at this moment check on internet how to configure a network adapter ip on internet be sure that the ip and dns are configured in automatic

check the Ethernet configuration it can be that you fixed the ip or the dhcp
the led on the Ethernet port are on? Did you try a different port

Hi, Jess! I will check the configuration now. How do I check the configurations?
And the LED on the ethernet port on the modem is lit up with an orange color and occasionally flashes but mostly remains fixed orange light.

I did recently changed some ip settings to play Minecraft, maybe that's it. I added port forwarding to the modem and changed ip settings on another laptop (not this one). Will check back with you shortly.

Hello, Jess. I fixed it! I just had to change the IPV4 settings to pick the IP and DNS automatically. Thank you so much for your help! Much appreciate!
